Anti Trust Charter

Anti-Trust & Competition Policy

FFIM FREIGHT BROKER LLC is deeply committed to ensuring free and fair competition within our business operations. We strictly adhere to Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policies and show zero tolerance for any anti-competitive practices or cartel conduct that restrict fair competition across our supply chain, customers, agents, and collaborators.

In alignment with these principles, FFIM FREIGHT BROKER LLC signed and incorporated the FIDI Anti-Trust Charter on 08/01/2018, integrating it into our Code of Conduct and Quality Standards to declare our firm commitment against cartels and anti-competitive practices.

What is a Cartel?

A cartel refers to an agreement, concerted practice, or conspiracy among competitors to engage in illegal activities that restrict competition, such as:

  • Price-fixing

  • Collusive tendering

  • Market or customer division

Cartels are considered the most severe violation of Anti-Trust laws, leading to significant fines and, in some cases, criminal penalties.

Charter Statement

As a FIDI-affiliated company, we commit to legal and ethical behavior and refrain from actions that harm the interests of FIDI, other affiliates, clients, or the industry as a whole. FIDI and its affiliates actively ensure they are aware of applicable regulations and take steps to ensure compliance.

Legal Compliance

FFIM FREIGHT BROKER LLC is committed to understanding and complying with all applicable anti-competitive laws in every jurisdiction in which we operate. This includes ensuring our practices align with the anti-trust regulations, upholding these laws with the utmost seriousness.

Ethical Behaviour

We pledge to adopt a zero-tolerance approach to cartel conduct and will always act professionally, fairly, and with the highest level of integrity in all business dealings. This will apply regardless of where we operate.

Commitment to FIDI Values

This Anti-Trust Charter is integrated into the FAIM Quality Standard, ensuring that FIDI affiliates worldwide consistently uphold the principles of ethical competition.

Code of Conduct

By agreeing to this Charter, each FIDI Affiliate undertakes to:

  1. Avoid any contact with competitors or third parties that could lead to cartel conduct.

  2. Refrain from agreements with competitors regarding sensitive issues such as:

    • Fixing prices

    • Dividing or sharing markets/customers/territories

    • Rigging competitive bidding

  3. Report any improper anti-competitive conduct by competitors, including to legal departments or relevant Anti-Trust authorities.

  4. Exit discussions involving sensitive competition-related issues at trade association meetings and request for it to be noted in the minutes.

  5. Ensure independent judgment in pricing and selling products/services.

  6. Limit the information disclosed during commercial negotiations with competitors to what is necessary for completing the transaction.

At FFIM FREIGHT BROKER LLC, we are committed to maintaining fair competition, ethical business practices, and legal compliance at all levels of our operations. This commitment ensures we uphold the trust placed in us by clients, partners, and regulators alike.
